Civil War, Persecution, Rape – the situation in the Darfur region in Sudan is dramatic because of the ongoing civil war which commenced in March 2003. With its School-Project the Darfur-Hilfe wants to offer better chances to the children of the Refugees Camps.

This is why in the beginning of 2004 the association “Darfur-Hilfe” was founded with the support of the society for threatened people (“Gesellschaft für bedrohte Völker”- GfbV) and “Die Brücke” International Center of the University of Münster.

The association is dedicated to humanitarian aid for people in need of the Darfur region, by providing health care and food aid, mainly in regions that are in a state of emergency, in war and suffer from famine.

Donations and cooperation with local, regional, national and international supporters help to reach those goals. Furthermore, the Darfur-Hilfe informs regularly on the development in this region of the Sudan.

The association Darfur-Hilfe is open to all interested people and grateful for any kind of support.
